Hindsight – A Word That Can Make You Feel Regret

hindsight

Every person on the planet has said or thought at least one of the four words listed above. It is easy to have hindsight and see how everything has unfolded after the fact. Then it is even easier to say what you should have done to handle the situation. We seem to always say the words, “If only I had known.”

The only way to know the truth about something before it unfolds is to have discernment from God through the leading of the Holy Spirit. He is the only One who can lead you through the complicated maze of life and enable you to walk in victory each day.

You can’t always see where you are going, but God doesn’t have a problem seeing the whole picture and how all the intricate details will unfold to bring about His desired end result.

Don’t walk in the way of hindsight any longer; let the Holy Spirit give you discernment and foresight about the actions you need to take. That way you won’t have to look back and regret your actions saying, “If only I had known.” You will know the right action to take if you will let the Holy Spirit lead and guide you each day.
