God is truly with you no matter what is going on in your life. He loves you like no other person on earth ever could, and only wants to give you His Very Best. If you are hurting right now, run to Him and let Him give you comfort. He wants to be there for you in the worst of times and also in the best of times.

It is the natural response to run away from God or blame Him when things start to fall apart. If you have done this, fall on your knees, repent, and get back into a right relationship with Him. Let Him steer the boat through the rough waters until you get to the other side of the storm. It is an awesome feeling to know that you will never be alone if you give God control.

I am just an ordinary person like you. It sometimes is hard to believe that the God who made the whole universe looks down upon me and sees me as a unique person that He wants to mold and use in a mighty way to do the work of His Kingdom here on earth.

We are each unique and God has specific plans for our life. He has everything planned down to the last detail, and is depending on us to carry forth His Work.

Are we afraid to step out into the unknown and walk towards Jesus on the water, knowing that if He doesn’t hold us up we will sink? He can see exactly where we are going, but we have to put our trust in Him knowing that He will lead us every step of the way.

It’s time that we as Christians take a mighty step into the unknown, knowing that we can trust God with everything in our lives. If God tells you to do something, He will guide you every step of the way even if you might have to go through some rough waters.

It’s time to SEEK HIS FACE and find out WHO HE IS and learn what real faith is!

I don’t think any human can comprehend Jesus dying on the cross for those who hated Him and for you and I who hadn’t even been born.

Oh that we could really understand the scope of what He accomplished through His death on the cross. It would radically change our lives forever. I pray that God will truly help me understand!

I have read the majority of Yvon Prehn’s articles and truly admire her commitment to God in that she wants to teach others how to get people involved in what is happening in the church.

She explains in much detail how to go about making content that will truly inform people about your event. Again, if you work in this area or have even thought about it, please watch this video.

M. Lockridge describing our God and who He is. Though he can’t be described with just words, this is about the best you can get this side of Heaven.

Rev. Lockridge gets all excited as he describes the many things God is to the Christian that are listed in the Bible, and I get excited as I listen to Him.

Below is a copy of the sermon in case you would like to read it. The video is much better because he puts so much emotion into it, but the words he says are very powerful.

Do you know Him?

  • He’s the greatest phenomenon that ever crossed the horizon of this world.
  • He’s God’s Son…

  • He’s unprecedented…
  • He’s the loftiest idea in literature…
  • He’s the highest personality in philosophy…
  • He’s the supreme problem in higher criticism…
  • He’s the fundamental doctrine of true theology…
  • He’s the cardinal necessity of spiritual religion…

  • He’s the superlative of everything good that you choose to call Him…

I wonder if you know Him today?

  • He supplies strength for the weak…

  • He sympathizes and He saves…
  • He strengthens and sustains…
  • He guards and He guides…
  • He heals the sick…
  • He cleanses lepers…
  • He forgives sinners…
  • He discharges debtors…
  • He delivers captives…
  • He defends the feeble…
  • He blesses the young…
  • He serves the unfortunate…
  • He regards the aged…
  • He rewards the diligent…
  • And He beautifies the meek.

I wonder if you know Him?  Well, my King…is the King…

  • He’s the key to knowledge…
  • He’s the wellspring to wisdom…
  • He’s the doorway of deliverance…
  • He’s the pathway of peace…
  • He’s the roadway of righteousness …
  • He’s the highway of holiness…
  • He’s the gateway of glory

Do you know Him?  Well…

  • His office is manifold…
  • His promise is sure…
  • His light is matchless…
  • His goodness is limitless…
  • His mercy is everlasting…
  • His love never changes…
  • His Word is enough…
  • His grace is sufficient…
  • His reign is righteous…
  • and His yoke is easy, and his burden is light.

I wish I could describe Him to you, but

  • He’s indescribable…
  • He’s incomprehensible…
  • He’s invincible…
  • He’s irresistible.

Well,

  • You can’t get Him out of your mind…
  • You can’t get Him off of your hand…
  • You can’t out live Him,
  • and you can’t live without Him…
  • The Pharisees couldn’t stand Him, but they found out they couldn’t stop Him…
  • Pilate couldn’t find any fault in Him…
  • The witnesses couldn’t get their testimonies to agree…
  • Herod couldn’t kill Him…
  • Death couldn’t handle Him,
  • And the grave couldn’t hold Him.

Yea!, that’s my King, that’s my King.  Father…”Yours is the Kingdom…and the Power…and the Glory…Forever”…and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever.  How long is that?  And when you get through with all the forevers, then…AMEN and AMEN!

Oh, if we could just see what an Awesome Savior Jesus truly is!

This has been one of my favorite songs since I was a child. I don’t think I fully understood it then, but more and more I am understanding now what Jesus did when He died for my sins on the cross.  He sacrificed everything for me, and I can never repay Him for bridging the gap between man and God so that I could have personal access to the Father.

If you have never heard this song, please listen to the powerful words and let it minister to you. If you don’t know Jesus as your Savior, you truly don’t know what you are missing. He truly is a Wonderful Savior!
