This video gives a great visual of the staying power of words. They can be either good or bad, and like the video can set off a domino chain of events for the other person. We speak hundreds of words each day, but most of us never give much thought as to how they affect others. We don’t think much about our tone of voice, or even the words we say.

We can all remember hurtful words that were said to us or about us. Sometimes they were said many years ago, but have affected what we have become today. Don’t let what someone else has said determine your future. God is the only one who knows what you are truly capable of accomplishing. Let him mold you into a person that He can use greatly for His Kingdom work.

Make it a point to watch what you say to and about others. Ask God to help you only say things that you won’t be sorry for in the future.
