The moon’s light and the sun’s light are a lot different. The moon only reflects light, while the sun has enough power to create its own. We were created to be like the moon. We don’t have light of our own; we merely reflect God’s glory.

God wants every Christian to live in such a way that others see His Glory revealed through their life. He didn’t create us to make things happen of our own accord, but to let Him do His Work through us.
In order to do that you have to give up your own plans and do what God is telling you to do, trusting that He will always have your best interest at heart. In my case, I have found that everything I have given up has been replaced by something much better than I ever thought about in the first place. In the beginning I might have thought I was taking a step backwards, but when I was able to look back I could see God’s hand in everything.
Seek God with all your heart and you will certainly find Him.
