This video is one of the most powerful I have seen on this subject. It portrays a wonderful word picture of how most of us tend to carry around all our baggage even though our hands are raw and bleeding, and we are bent low from all the excess weight.
Jesus died so that every Christian (one who has asked Jesus into their heart) could be set free from all the weights that seem to drag us down. When you walk in step with Him, you won’t have to carry that heavy burden around any more all by yourself.
Jesus said in Matthew 11: 28-30:
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.

Just came across your blog while surfing through… thanks for this verse… it’s one that is deeply etched into my brain (because the church I used to go to as a child had a wall hanging with this right at the front) and it still comes to me in times of stress and tiredness.
